Glad to hear of the 1st birthday!
I joined this list last August. Previously, off and on, I had spent 30
years attempting to research my Attride ancestors (who left Surrey in 1869).
I had spent many, many hours ordering LDS microfilms and made small amounts
of progress. All this changed with several months using this list. I
posted my interests in anyone bearing the ATTRIDE or ATTRYDE surname and
soon made a connection with a dear soul in Kent who is also researching the
same surname! This connectivity makes this list invaluable. Much work left
to do, but tremendous progress in the last 8 months. Keep up the great work!
