Hello Arlene!
I think the film was "Up the Junction", 1967, directed by Peter Collinson & Bob Kellett.
Have a look at the following URL http://us.imdb.com/Title?0062426

Subject:Ingrave Street, Wandsworth
Hello List.
My Gt.. grandparents were living at 7 Ingrave Street , Battersea, Wandsworth in 1867 when my grandfather was born. Last October, my husband and I were in London and we took a "memory walk" in the different areas of London where the ancestors had lived.
We had a delightful Lorry driver who loved history and told us about Ingrave Street and the area.
He showed us some of the restored houses on Ingrave Street and also told us about a movie that had been filmed on that street in the 1970's- and named some apparently popular British film star that had been in the movie-
I am wondering if this jogs SKS's memory as to the name of the movie and where I could get a copy-
I think he said it was "HOP the JUNCTION"- can any one help?
Thanks
