Hi everyone interested in the SELLS,

I managed to have another look in The Mount cemetery over the weekend. This
message updates my earlier one a few days ago with some additional
inscription and a couple of corrections.

There are 3 SELLS graves in a small group surrounded by a single kerb near a
sign to the Lucy Lutwidge grave. Two are stepped plinths with crosses that
have become detached and are neatly propped against the plinths. The other
is a sort of oval wreath shape

Cross 1: (West) Charlotte wife of Thomas Jenner Sells born Feb 22 died Dec
19 1877 Her children rise up and call her blessed Her husband also, and he
praiseth her

(East) Thomas Jenner Sells M.R.C.S. & JP born Feb 25 1811, died March 31
1879 He leadeth me beside still waters

(South) Also in memory of Edward Jenner Sells aged 45 years third son of
Thomas Jenner and Charlotte Sells who died April 28 1898 at Northfleet Kent
and was there buried

Wreath: Reginald (not Richard, as I put earlier) Wilfred Sells aged 19
years Sept 18 1903

Cross 2: (North) Also in memory of Reginald Wilfred Sells youngest son of
Charles John and Emily Sells who died at Loughborough Sept 18 1903 from the
result of a shooting accident aged 19 years and who is here buried

(East) In memory of Emily wife of Charles John Sells JP Guildford of White
Hall Guildford and youngest daughter of the late John Schofield of Grantham
who died January 12 1897 Also of their children Ruby third child born March
12 1876 John sixth child born Decr 13 1878 died March 2 1882 Ruth Audrey
twelfth child born Oct 23rd 1887 died Decr 26 1887 They are in peace

(West) In memory also of Charles Bernard (not Richard as I put earlier)
Sells of Guys Hospital eldest son of Charles and Emily Sells Lance corporal
of 31 Company Imperial Yeomanry who died at Delfontein South Africa while
serving on the medical staff of the Imperial Yeomanry hospital Jan 22 1901
during the Boer War aged 26 years

(South) Charles John Sells died September 11th 1931 In devoted memory
