Subject: [SRY] WW1 site listing casualties
Date: Sat, 6 Oct 2001 07:13:01 +1200
Hi Listers
It was discussed the other week on one of these lists about interesting
finds on Google. I came across this site whilst searching for one of my
wife's ancestors. This site also links to other sites full of WW1 data and
is quite extensive. There is plenty of data and on checking on one or two
links there is also lists of names of casualties not just British. No doubt
they are all on the War Graves list but this site is well worth a visit. The
site I give you here is a list of casualties for HMS Vanguard and there are
a lot of names and the deceased parents are listed. From this site you can
explore further through the links
I hope you find it of some use.
