Hello from one Pat to another,
If you have an address for March 1841 you
must look there for the family on the 1841 Census.

I well remember my Cockney grandmother
Emily Mary MITCHELL singing the song.
"Any time your Lambeth Way,
Any evening, Any day,
You'll find us all doing the Lambeth Walk, Hoy."

I can't remember the next lines but I do remember
Everything free and easy,
Do as you darn well pleasey.
Go there, stay there.......................?

In my minds eye I can see the Pearly King & Queen
with their clothes decorated in dozens of pearl buttons.
Regards
Pat.

>Today I finally received a copy of my 2x great grandparents marriage
certificate. It had been dispatched from the GRO on September 9'th, but
with the tragedy of September 11'th, airplanes being grounded and mail not
being carried for quite awhile, it was delayed. They both give their
address as (no street number) Lambeth Walk. The marriage took place March
20'th, 1841.

remember what it was about. Anybody remember it? What did it mean?
