The church records of St James Bermondsey and St Olave Bermondsey are
held at London Metropolitan Archives, Northampton Road, Clerkenwell.
They have an excellent website:

Bromley Archives also have a website:
http://www.bromley.gov.uk/content/libraries/bromley_archives.html

They probably have the parish records, and will certainly have photos
etc of the church.

Morning

I am planning a trip to England in late August through to the first week
of October. Plan to spend about a week in the London area September
9-15. At that time I would like to do some research.

Was wondering if someone would be kind enough to provide me with
information on location of certain churches, if parish records are
available at these churches and hours they are open.

These churches are St. Michaels and All Angels - Bromley; St. James -
Bermondsey; St. Olave - Bemondsey.

My ancestors were barge builders, lightermen and watermen on the Thames,
and I understand that there is a river tour available. Can anyone
advise who I would contact about this?
