I have just found that my CONSTABLE ancestors came from Sunbury on Thames in
Middlesex. Specifically I have the following:



Richard and Ann CONSTABLE had 3 children Richard (1778), Ann (1779) and
Joseph (1781), all Christened in Sunbury. No other details known of Richard
and Ann.



Joseph married a Grace (surname unknown but could it be MARTIN?) and one
child is known - Anna Martin Constable, chr 27 Sep 1812 in Esher and IGI
records. Anna went on to marry Frederick DAWES around 1835/6, probably in
Esher and I have their descendants but can anyone help to provide any
further information on the CONSTABLES? Did Richard and Ann originally come
from somewhere in Surrey as I know there were quite a few Constables in
Surrey.
