If you google on "Stimpson's buildings" you'll get 4 results. What is
valuable is that two of those messages were postings in genealogy lists
about people living in Stimpson's Buildings. One very obligingly gave
a date of 1935 when her father was born, so you know at least that the
building was standing then. These are extracts from the two messages:
His father was Charles CLARK, mother was Mary CLARK,nee Rigby.
address: 5 Stimpson's Buildings, Wandsworth. They were living at that
address when my Dad was born. They had several children, the only names
I remember are Thomas and Frederick. I thank you for any help you can
give me. Jean Noakes, USA.
My father's name was Edward George Fisher, d.o.b 10/10/1935. He had a
brother named Charles who was born approx. 1948. His father's name was
Edward Charles Fisher and his mother's name was lily, nee Robinson. At
the time of his birth, my father's address was 18 Stimpson's Buildings,
High Street, Wandsworth, London.
Have you heard of Booths Poverty map of 1889? His notes include
reference to Stimpson's Building -

Hope this helps.
