Thank you Mary for the tip on the streetmap site.

I can remember that when I stood at the end of the road that my grandmother
lived in and looked across the Washwood Heath Road, I could see the black
railings of the park and to my right was a large black metal gate. I see
from the street map that there are three streets running on to Washwood
Heath Road, do you think that standing at all three of them I would have
had the same view. Was there a large gate on the main road.
