Hello everyone

On January 2nd this year, a lady at the PRO said:

"Information from the 1901 census will be available at the click of a button
and will make a huge difference to researchers. "

It is obvious that they don't have a clue as to how and when they will
fulfill her statement. And these are the people who are moving on to do the
1891 - this year they said!

Free Census has just put another 15,000 records of the Aston and Birmingham
1891 census returns online.

We have FIFTEEN fully transcribed "pieces" (about 75,000 returns) waiting
for checking. If you have some time, a computer and a microfiche reader,
why not join us? Show these government officials what can be done by the
average family historian!

If you think this information should be freely available and available for
free, drop me a line.

Rgds
