Hi, try....State Records NSW and do a name search, maybe just a last name one.
Other possible....State Library, NSW......ditto Qld.
John Oxley Library, Qld.
Maybe WW2 Nominal Roll or Commonwealth War Commission. They have
names of those who served. You might get a rellie or sibling or child.
