I am looking for information about the family of Christopher JAQUES of
Murton, Westmorland, b. 1750, m. Hanna BELLAS May 24, 1779 in Murton.
Children: Christopher, Elizabeth, Isabella, Joseph, Margaret, William,
Thomas, John, Ann, Mary, Jane, Sarah, and Anthony. About half of them
emigrated to Canada and the U.S., the rest either stayed in Westmorland or
moved to nearby countys.

Also, looking for information about James and John ATKINSON, probably
brothers, of Sandford, Westmorland. James was b. 1796 and married Mary
DAWSON in Westmorland. John was b. 1800 and m. Hannah (?). Both emigrated
to Canada, probably in the early 1840s.

Any information about the ancestors or descendants of these families would
be appreciated. Thank you.
