Greetings All
Forgive me posting the following problem through the list, but I am
becoming desperate.
I have subscribed to Westmorland, Cumberland, Northumberland & Durham,
Yorks.& Bucks. mailing lists. Apart from Westmorland, I keep being removed
from the lists only a few days after subscribing due to 'too much bounced
mail'.
After constantly emailing my server they eventually replied with the
following :-
It seems to be some sort of DNS problem at this end which is being looked
into at the moment.
This was sent to me on the 20 Sept. I have tried re-subscribing to the
Cumberland list but after two days I was removed yet again for the same
reason.
Having sent a further strongly worded email to Freenet on Wednesday all I
have received from them to date is the autoresponse message. Since then I
have had further trouble. When downloading incoming messages if say, there
are seven messages, the most coming through to my computer is two; goodness
knows where the remainder are going!!
Please can some computer literate person suggest what I can do next, or
should I change my server? Also, what on earth does DNS mean.
Please save my sanity!
Edna Smith
Bognar Regis.
