Hi let me introduce myself I am Peter Rushworth form Adeliade South
Australia one of the names I am researching is my wife's maiden name
Martindale. James Martindale arrived in SA on board the Glammis in 1883 with
his wife and nine of his eleven children. Listed below are the details I
have can anybody supply me with details of his parents and family.

James Martindale born 16/Jul/1844 Selside Westmorland thats what the 1881
census tells me but it may have been Manchester.

Margaret Jane Thornburrow born 8/9/1849 the 1881 census tells me that it
was sedbergh York England but it may have been Kendal Westmorland.
