Dear Les:

I would like to correspond with anyone who is researching the Varty name
from around this area. What do you mean by fellside area? Never hear of
that before. My John Varty married Mary Robinson in the Parish of
Kirkbythore in 1776 and they lived in Long Marton where John was a
Shoemaker. I believe that Mary's parents were William Robinson and Margaret
Furnass. Look forward to hearing from others who may be researching these
people. Thanks for your help.
