Janet,

To be Christened is to be baptised in the name of Christ so there really is
no difference other than the way Baptism is administered. The Baptist
denomination believe that one has to be fully immersed and others such as
Episcopal sprinkle at the font.

Now you may get other opinions so trust you will not be confused.
