Hi Carol,
Long Marton ia located a few miles north of
Appleby-in-Westmorland and to the East of the A66. I know because I went to
Grammar school with children from there.
Having been born within the Parish of Crosby Ravensworth (Maulds
Meaburn) I know the area well. I do not know of a Kirkby Ravensworth and
trust Elisabeth Bell hailed from the same area as I did.
