The parish of Kirkby Ravensworth is in the North Riding of Yorkshire, about
7 miles north-east of Marrick, so it looks as though Elisabeth BELL & John
HILLARY were married there rather than Crosby Ravensworth in Westmorland.
It's shown on the modern maps simply as 'Ravensworth'. According to
Phillimore, the parish registers begin in 1599 and it's included in the IGI
from 1662-1884.
