Hi Listers,

Following our earlier posting we have been gratified by the huge
numbers of messages, many with really interesting and important
contributions for the Index.

However, we have also had a number of our replies "bounced" through
incorrect or faulty e-mail addresses.

May we take this space to plead for great care in entering e-mail
addresses if you anticipate a reply? We can usually work out that a
comma has been inserted instead of a fullstop but there are others
where the "user not recognised" or "user unknown"

If you have sent us a message since our last posting and have not
received a reply, it may be that this is languishing in our outbox
having been returned to us
