Hello List,
Could SKS with access to these particular censuses please do a look-up
for my family? I expect the data is at Kendal.

For Killington, Wes. in the 1871 census, looking for:
William Richardson about age 31 then, wife Catherine abt 29, children
including Thomas 11, Mary Margaret 10, John 8, Richard 4, and James
1. Also looking for Catherine Capstick, W, from Cautley, York. There
may be more children.

For Mansergh, Wes. in 1891:
William and Catherine Richardson, and anyone else living with them.
Thomas had married and moved to Lupton, below; don't know what happened
to his siblings.

For Hornsbarrow, Lupton, Wes. in 1891 census:
Thomas Richardson abt 31 then, wife Isabella abt 33, and children
William abt 11, Thomas, John, Mary, Katherine (Kitty) an infant. If
Isabella is not there (died somewhere about 1891-3), please look for
Katherine in Mansergh living with Richard Mashiter (her ggfather) and
Mary Jane/Anne Mashiter (gmother) abt 57. (They were at "Birks" in
Mansergh in 1881).

Does any one know if Hornsbarrow is a dwelling, or a hamlet near
Lupton? In the family, it has always been referred to as "Hornsbarrow,
Lupton", and not just one or the other. I've also heard the term "RSD"
as part of the address after Lupton. Is this some sort of district?

Thanks in advance. I have learned so much about my family from people
on this and other lists. If I can some help anyone with info on Canada,
particularly the western provinces, let me know.
