Hi Dean.....When I was a young lad in the 1920's Maulds Meaburn also had a
Bay Horse pub which was located across from the mill.......I have seen
mention of it as White Horse since the front is white washed but I know that
is the wrong name.....Abe Furness owned the Mason Arms and the Butcher's
shop.....I forgot who ran the Bay Horse............All the best.

PS:- Here in Charleston, SC the soccer stadium has a nice pub with draft
English beer at $4 a pint
