Greetings to the list.

I am trying to find William POOLE born c. 1841 St. Bridgets (which I
believe is Beckermet) and his family. I appreciate that this should be
sent to the Cumberland list, but I do not have the address. In addition,
I have noticed that many WES subscribers also mention the Cumberland
list in their messages.

I'm having real trouble finding anything out about him. According to the
GRO, he doesn't appear to have been born or married. He was alive in
1871 and dead by 1874. In 1871 he was living in Liverpool, married(?) to
a Mary SAUNDERS (from Herefordshire) and had 2 young daughters. I've no
idea if any of the William POOLE's that I have been able to find
references for is mine as I don't know whereabouts in the country he was
in any given year.

I thought if I went back to find his parents, it would give me a firmer
base to push forwards from. If anyone can help me, I'd be truly
grateful.
