Hi

Rather than run the risk of collecting a large number of look-ups, if anyone
has connections in Warton can I suggest looking at the LAN-OPC web-site at
www.lan-opc.org.uk

There are a few baptisms from outside the parish - places that come to mind
are Dalton and Burton in Kendal which are just over the border in
Westmorland, similarly with deaths.

Warton is particularly well served with most of the early BMD already done.
I am currently working on the baptisms from 1874-1924 and so far up to about
1885. I hope to e-mail this file to Paul Dixon before Christmas for
uploading.

There are OPC projects in other counties and a google search may well give
their addresses.
