Hello from Florida

I have Rawes from Rydal and Grasmere.

On the site mentioned by Eddie---mine are the "Jamaica" Line.

Francis Rawes--a twin b 1828 Rydal was the son of John Rawes who was the son
of Lanty.(Lancelot)

Francis ---a Pencil Maker--m Sarah Mirehouse in Cumberland but died from TB
just before their only daughter was born---Mary Frances Rawes b 1856 Brigham

Sarah remarried to Robinson Burns and they moved to Liverpool, where Mary
Frances married George Duke---although I have never been able to find their
marriage.!!!
