In Scotch-street, Whitehaven, on Saturday last, the Lady of the Rev. John JENKINS, incumbent of Saint James's, of that town, of a son.

At St. Mary's Church, Carlisle, on Tuesday last, Mr. John BLAYLOCK, to Miss Mary NICHOLSON; same day, Mr. Charles George BREMNER, house painter, &c. Castle-street, to Miss E. GRAHAM.

At Hesket, on the 2nd inst., Mr. Wm. SHEPHERD, of Durran Hill, to Miss Mary TURNER, of the Salutation Inn, High Hesket.

At St. Nicholas's, on Thursday last, Mr. Thomas HADWIN, twine spinner, to Miss Jane NELSON, both of Whitehaven. At Trinity Church, on Saturday last, Mr. John FAIRCLIFFE, currier, to Miss Jane YOUNGHUSBAND, of Roper-street.

At Philadelphia, in the United States of America, on the 28th May last, James, eldest son of Mr. Thos. DIXON, of Keswick, to Adolina Clara, daughter of the late Mr. Jacob WINAND, merchant, Baltimore.

At Workington, since our last, Mr. William JONES, confectioner, to Miss Eleanor PENDERGRASS; Mr. Rd. SMITH, blacksmith, to Miss Jane THOMPSON.

At Cockermouth, on Monday last, Mr. Wm. KIDD, labourer, to Miss Ann BRANNION.

At Crosthwaite Church, on Thursday week, Mr. Jos. Greenhow WILLIAMSON, of Lowthwaite, to Martha, youngest daughter of Mr. John DUNGLINSON, of Hill-Top, near Keswick; on Saturday, at the same place, Mr. Joseph HORSLEY, pencil maker, to Ann, eldest daughter of Mr. Joseph BARROW, all of Keswick; on Sunday, Mr. John HERD, of Keskadale, to Mrs. Mary TYSON, of the Mill Dam Inn, Newlands, near Keswick.
