Hi Listers

My 3xgrandfarther John Waters was christened in Denver on 7 June 1846, he was born 14 May 1846 [source parish register].
Parents were Robert & Elizabeth. In the 1881

In the 1851 Census HO/107/1830 Folio 550 Page13
I have a John WATERS, parents Robert & Elizabeth
Abode is given as Wite House, Downham.
John's birthplace is given as Downham, age as 5

I know Downham is very close to Denver [I assume it is the same as Downham Market]
so I am open to suggestions as to how I can check wether these two people are the same.
