Hi
I'm new to this list and am assuming it is normal to get very few mails from it. My interest in the Wisbeach area is with the BATES family.
Charles BATES was born in 1848 in Upwell (I think) he married Elizabeth WOODS in Holbeach Lincolnshire and lived there for a number of years. At some point before the birth of my Grandfather, James Edward, in 1888 they returned. His siblings were John, Eliza, Willman, Lucy and Jessie
Is any one else interested in this family
