Hi all

You should all have received a message from Rootsweb about Rootsweb mailing list, List Migration to Mailman. This is being done to better maintain the Rootsweb mailing list system. The Wisbech Area Mailing List date of migration is, Thursday, Sept. 7th or Friday, Sept. 8th, for subscribers in the eastern hemisphere such as Australia or New Zealand.

This should have no effect on most subscribers, unless you fit one of the following.

1) Those who use filters for the email will have to change there filters from
or to


2) Those who are subscribed on both List and Digest Mode with one email address, will start receiving messages in List mode only. You will need another email address if you would like to received both List and Digest Mode messages.

3) Those subscribers who are subscribed in Digest Mode will received the Digest as one long email. Please contact me if you would like these as a list of attachments like before (if that is how you received the Digest).

4) Those subscribers who are subscribed in Digest Mode and are with AOL will, as I understand, only received the Digest message as attachments.

In the next month or so, I will be uploading a new improved Wisbech and the Fenlands, with new indexes, so stay tuned.
