Well disregarding the age of William Tegerdine, which is obliously incorrect considering Henry is his son inlaw. It would appear Henry married before the Census and his wife died young.

The period you are after, the early 1860's is outside the search that Carol usually does. What I can suggest is either a search of the BDMs or maybe a check of the 1871 census.

Now you say that Henry took his daughter to meet her grandparents in England about 1897. Were they Henry's parents or Henry's wife's parents? Here are a few extra households from the 1881 online census.
