Hello Dennis,

I had also found the Lambeth birth which looks promising but what has thrown
me is that Violet Martin Hills DUNBAR had a son in Edmonton in 1941. Her
address at that time was Wisbech and then she died in Wisbech in 1943 age
23. This makes her birth date 1920 but ages at death are reported by others
and not necessarily reliable. It is Wisbech that is the problem

I found an Edgar DUNBAR/Mabel CLARIDGE marriage in St.G.H.S in 1913 and have
traced this family back to a George DUNBAR born about1849 in Dundee. There
was a DUNBAR family in South Lynn in 1901 whose head, Joseph born about
1814, came from Scotland and this family could have been related to the
London family.

Violet may have fallen for Michael out of wedlock and in shame she was
packed off to Wisbech for the birth. All a bit of guesswork so far. I have
sent for Violet`s death certificate.
