Hi Michelle

I don't know about Worcester but when we visited Gloucester Docks in the
summer we found a church that (from memory)was specifically built at the
docks for boat people. Mind you Gloucester would get ocean-going traffic as
well as river traffic.

Regards

Patricia

History Magazine. It states a couple of interesting facts, one, that boat
people liked to have their babies churched before the mother was allowed on
the boat again and also that a lot of churches would not baptise boat
people's babies.
