There is a record for William Chessall in Alumni Oxonienses:
Chessall, William, of co. Worcester, pleb. JESUS COLL., matric.-entry under
date 20 Sept., 1575. aged 22; B.A. 19 Feb., 1574-5.
The dates are close enough to be him as they were not always accurate
