I tried to find Mary BOWLES on the 1851 Census , but had no luck , sometimes
it is easier to suggest a location, when you can see how it was written.

Possibles
BROUGHTON HACKETT - BROMSGROVE - BOCKLETON are a few !!
But if you give me the census reference and the name of the Head of
Household - I will look at the page and possibly come up with a more
definite answer.

Good afternoon,

Can someone please assist?

The only clue that we have on my 4x great grandmother, Mary Bowles (nee ?),
is that she was born circa 1785 in a place called - Boorcaught,
Worcestershire. I have looked at Boorc / Boarc / B*court in various
gazetteers with no success . This information came from the 1851 Census
where she was living with her daughter.

We would appreciate any suggestions as to the place name as it has us
stumped.
