Hi David:
My Edward Evans did have a son John born about 1860ish, but John was still living with his father at his sister Elizabeth (Evans) Baker's house in 1881. They were all in Stourbridge in '81 and John was apparently born there. So I don't think there is a connection here.
Thanks for the response.
Cheers, Bobbie

Hello Joan and Bobbie. I don't remember seeing the original e-mail
message, but this response caught my attention. I have EVANS roots in
Worcester as well. Do any of the following ring any bells with either of
you?
George Richard EVANS (son of John EVANS)
b) 16 Mar 1861 in Halesowen
m) 14 Oct 1878 in Dudley to Fanny NORRIS
d) 16 Aug 1947 in Toronto, Canada
Children of George and Fanny:
Annley b) 30 Nov 1878 in Stourbridge
Bertha b) 9 Jun 1880 in Kingswinford?
George Richard b) 21 Jun 1890 in Toronto, Canada
Fanny's mother, Hannah, died during or shortly after Fanny was born and
Fanny was raised by her uncle, Henry NORRIS
