Hi All
From time to time, I contact the list with regard to the above project
to give an update and ask if anyone would like more information about
becoming a volunteer.
We now have 24 pieces for 1891 Yorkshire uploaded and one for 1871
Yorkshire (Ardsley) plus other counties have more and more going on
weekly.
The Freecensus project involves transcribing census material either from
fiche or CD which I would provide, on loan, uploaded to the Freecen
website for free to view access.
Please check out the website and you will see that other counties cover
different years, see if any of your ancestors are on there.
If you would like further information about joining us then please do
contact me fof list. I have some fiche for 1891 and the Yorkshire 1861
census on CD. (I also have Durham 1861 and Westmorland 1871 on CD).
Thank you for reading this message.
Regards
Carol Barber
Freecensus Co-ordinator for Yorkshire, Durham and Westmorland
