Some new branches on the SHAW tree .. Andrew newest marriage certificate:

"Arnold SHAW married Edith Annie HORSFIELD on 2 Jan 1905 at Wadsley Parish
Church.

He 22, she 19, he bachelor, she spinster. He miner, both of Worrall. Groom
father Tom SHAW, miner. Bride father Harry HORSFIELD, publican. Witnesses
were Kollin (?) and Maggie GREAVES.


After Arnold died in 1928, Edith re-married to George Arthur FOX."

Which was nice as it links up to Jeremy CRAWSHAW's HORSFIELDs .. other names
connected : GREAVES, PALFREY

Another link (Brenda sent me some SHAW marriages ages ago and I forgot them)
is SHAW/MEDLEY

and:

Gregory Robert Sheffield 9c 601
WOOD Sarah Sheffield 9c 601 (nee GILBERTHORPE)

I went looking for stray SHAWs in 1901 and found 2 children of Nathaniel:
John Thomas living in Hoyland Nether (on census index as SHAUN)
Mary Hannah living in South Crossland

Mary Jane (daughter of "my" James and Mary) in Huddersfield

Aaron SHAW (1841) is with his family in Thurgoland

Emmanuel SHAW'S widow and some children in Oughtibridge. Her name is not
SHAW in 1901 (looked like HOUGILL but found a marriage DOUGILL).

them and add them to the pages
