Hello GEN-AFRICAN Listers:
"I have a Negro slave John Johnson, that was born
about 1760 (I believe in the US) but
ended up in England by (or before) 1808.
It's possible that he was taken to England directly
from Africa. Not sure."
....
Red Flag: John JOHNSTON? Will I be able to find a
Negro slave by the name of John JOHNSTON in the USA
c.1760? Or in England c.1808?
If so, I need guidance.
I am asking for a newbie but this is making me feel
like a newbie also.
Grateful to any and all suggestions/contributions for
our journey.
....
Regards,
--Manaia
