Hello All,

Please note the following resources which are available on the Internet for
those researching in the old county of Huntingdonshire.

The county page is at http://midas.ac.uk/genuki/big/eng/HUN/ . This
contains links to the Huntingdon Records Office, showing what is available,
together with their email address. Also a map of the various
Huntingdonshire Parishes, including those that were transferred to
Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire in 1888, and a list of these parishes with
links to a parish page listing parish history, church history, what
registers survive, census information, population information from 1801
(when the first census was taken), Poor Law and Civil Registration
Information and Monumental Inscription information. There is also some
statistical information on area parishes.

The Huntingdonshire Family History Society (HFHS) have a web page at:
http://www.cs.ncl.ac.uk/genuki/HuntingdonFHS/ which lists the objectives of
the HFHS, gives a list of Publications avaiable and how to order them, a
list of the meetings arranged, and how to join. We hope to add a Surnames
being researched list for those with email facilities in the near future.

Please take time to look at these valuable resources which are being added
to weekly.

Good Hunting!
