Hi John,
I am a descendant of a Joseph See who came to Australia in 1852, from
Yelling Huntingdonshire, where he was born in 1819. His father was John
See, born Yelling 1776; John's father was William Seakens or Seeking,
who m. 23 Oct 1768, in WOODHURST HUNTS, Jane EARL. Their children became
known as SEE.
I wonder if this is of great moment to you! I realise that your Ramsey
people were north of mine; I note that Reg Copeland <>
is interested in Sees from Warboys, which is nearer to Ramsey than
Yelling. (We have visited Yelling and found it to be in a charming
area).
Incidentally the Australian line is well documented.
Regards.
