Hello Everyone

I have recently begun subscribing to English Fens, and wondered if there was anyone who
could help with some of my elusive ancestors - I am completely stuck! I would ofcourse be
glad to share information about any of these families with anyone interested, or hear from any
descendents. Here they are:

BAILEY - in particular Samuel Bailey c. 1746 - 1819. Married Hannah BENTLEY in
Ashley-cum- Silverly in 1779. lived in Swaffham Prior thereafter. I cannot find any record of
Samuel's baptism. Also the marriage of his daughter RHODA BAILEY, my great great
grandmother. She eventually married a London man, Thomas Moore, and resided in
London, but I suspect an earlier marriage, perhaps in the Fens area., since I have never
found the marriage to Thomas, and her children by him were born late.

Also the baptisms of both RICHARD BENTLEY and MARGARET SANDERSONwho
married in Carlton-cum-Willingham in 1724 which presumably took place in the area.

Also ELIZABETH CRANE/CRAIN 's baptism. She married in Fenstanton in 1811.

Her husband was THOMAS CLEGHORN, a millwright born in Finsbury, London, to where
the family eventually returned. Would be very grateful for any information which could lead
me to the mills where Thomas may have worked or served an apprenticeship, or any
children.

Any information would be VERY VERY gratefully received!

Elaine
