Hello,
My name is Chuck Braun and I live in Osceola, Wisconsin, USA. In 1996
my wife and I spent a lovely month in England. We did go to a records
archive in London to seek information on my wife's Gordon family but to no
avail. If you have any Gordon information please forward it to my personal
email address. The following Gordon information is furnished.

INFORMATION:

James Isaac Gordon was born in Cambridgeshire, England on July 29,
1829. He is the son of James and Jennie Gordon, who were of English and
Scotch descent. He was the eldest in a family of four children, the others
being Henry and Joseph, twins, and Nancy. James immigrated to America on
the ship "James-Nesmith", which sailed from Liverpool to America on April
26, 1851. The ship passenger list said, "Gordon, James, age 20, male,
laborer."
