Thanks for the information about Eye. Do you think it is worth pursuing to
see if there was a Walloon register or Walloon members of the regular
parish? I'll check at the LDS FHC and see what I can dig up. You wouldn't
have any idea when the church ceased functioning would you - which century?
Where did the Marquilliers and Le Plas pay hearth taxes? At Thorney? Does
that mean Mr. Le Pla had 5 fireplaces in one house or five different abodes
he rented to people - hmmm - how could you know that. I heard on the radio
the other day that a Le Pla wrote La Vien Rose for Edith Piaf - he owned a
nightclub in Paris but was later murdered.
