Dear Irene,

No news yet on the graveyard record, as my message to Cambridge CRO bounced
twice and I have had to resort to snail mail.

I have two of the names you posted:
1. Robert Peachey was a witness to the marriage of Robert Misen to Ann
Eve in Soham on 23 Jan 1821.

Robert Peachey was a witness to the marriage of his brother Matthew Mison
(my gt gt grandfather) to Elizabeth Gray of Isleham in Soham on 26 Sep
1825.

Now I recall seeing somewhere the death of Robert Peachey, but as I wasn't
that interested, I didn't note it. However, I have a feeling it is on the
Monumental Inscriptions for Soham Fiche. I have this, but no reader, so
cannot check easily. Maybe SKS on the list would be able to let you know.

2. You mention Casburn. I have Martha Casbourn who married John Myson
of Kentford in Fordham on 2 Nov 1837. They had 4 children
Mary 1845
Jane1848
Ann 1850
William 1857
In the 1881 Census in Fordham, John and his son were living alone together.

I get the feeling that maybe our ancestors knew each other.

Incidentally, you mentioned to me a George Frederick MYSON buried in
Isleham in 1996. I checked with my Dad but he didn't know him. Strange,
as Frederick seems to be a name that is used only in my line of the
Mison/Myson/Mysen/Missen clan.

Let me know if any of this was any use to you. Ditto anyone else on the
list. Thanks everyone.
