Yes, that's the right Dogsthorpe, now apparently a part of northern
Peterborough and so not on most commonly available maps. My BOTHAMLEY family
came from Dogsthorpe and nearby Paston. I would love to find out more about
the area, and others with links.

Do check in with the Northants-L on Rootsweb, though the primary interest
group for the area comes through the Peterborough & District FHS, not yet an
online presence. You can write their membership secretary, Mrs. D. Harbron,
