Subject: Burbridges in Warboys

Greetings all,
I've been lurking on this list since last Christmas and learned all sorts of
interesting snippets but now I guess it's high time I revealed my interests In
the hope that someone can help.

A distant cousin of mine has been busy researching the family tree and has
found basically two branches of us Burbridges. His lot, who moved to London in
the last century and are now in Hertforshire. And the rest of us who stayed
put in Warboys in what was once Huntingdonshire.

The last Burbridge actually living in Warboys died about three years ago and I
have the rather sad distinction of being the last to have been born there.
Cousin David has traced us all back to a William Burbridge who died in Warboys
in 1700. But he hasn't been able to discover where he had come from. Any
ideas on where to look would be very welcome as in deed will any long-lost
relative who may be reading this.
