Hello All
George BARKER , born 1837 East Rudham, Norfolk, married Ann 'MANNING' born
Thorny , Camb. Their first three children Sarah (1), Sarah(2), and George
were born in Wisbeck, Camb. Other children were born in Surrey where I
placed them in 1881.
Do these names ring any bells anywhere?
However , I am ' hoping and assuming ' Ann's maiden name is MANNING because
two of her children had Manning as a middle name.
So ... , If someone could be so kind as to look in the records for this
family in 1861 census... marriages ( about 1859 in Autwell, Camb.) or even
a birth for Ann (about 1829-31) I would be grateful.
As well .. How close would Thorny , Autwell and Wisbech be and would they
be in the same parish.
Any help to relieve the pain of banging my head against the stone wall
would be wonderful
Thanks
Dorothy B.C. Canada
