Hello Listers,

Happy New Year!

I have just re-subscribed to the list after the Christmas/New Year holidays, and am looking for any information that I can get on:

John Smith Ashworth, married to Mary ? parents of:

John Ashworth (b. 1804, Whittlesey) married to Elizabeth A.....? parents of:

George Smith Ashworth (born 1834, Whittlesey) married Mary A......? parents of:

Elizabeth Smith Ashworth (born 1857, Whittlesey) married William Gardner in London

A very kind lister sent me a list of all Ashworth baptisms between 1800 and (I think) 1837, which is where I have got most of the above information from. However, I have been unable to find out anything further as there appear to be no listings on the IGI from Whittlesey, and my local LDS Family History Library does not list any filmed records from Whittlesey at all.

If SKS could let me know why this would be, and if there is anywhere that I could find details of these marriages, I would be most grateful.

Also, George Smith Ashworth above, is married to Mary A. who claims in the 1881 census to have been born at St. Paulls (sic) Cambs. Could anyone please enlighten me as to where this may be?
