Hi,
Personally I wish someone kind Mormon would baptise all my ancestors then perhaps I could find them.

She was baptised, in the Church of England, in Sutton Bedfordshire in December 1872, and died in January 1968, aged 95, having been a life long member of the Church of England and then the Anglican Church of Canada. She had two children, the elder, my aunt, continues to live in Winnipeg, aged 98. There were five grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. None of these people are Mormons, or are married to, or were ever married to, someone who belongs to the LDS church. Likewise her three sisters, also baptised in that parish, are "sealed to the temple". None of them has any Mormon connection. The second sister died at the age of 16 months, so not even the Mormons can claim that she has unknown descendants. (But then, they don't bother recording dates of burial, or dates of death, not understanding that learning of a buria!

The only reason I can imagine for my grandmother and her siblings being sealed to the temple is that someone - whoever copied the parish records of Sutton, Bedfordshire - sealed all these "entries" to the temple? Does anyone else know how those with NO connection to the Mormons, is "adopted" into their faith?
