I gather that Alumni Oxoniensis is not available on line (be reasonable!),
but that the University Archivist will usually look up entries and supply
other readily-available info. Brief enquiries are preferred. The e-mail

Most colleges, maybe all, have archivists. Oriel College used to provide the
principals for St Mary Hall, so you could try the archivist of Oriel, who is
