Hi David _ would that they were - then my dining room wouldn't be
stacked full of piles of paper.......... the 1841 census transcription
project yesterday joined the 1851 computer entry project which joined
the carrier bags full of parish registers earlier in the week!
I think we have published 133 parishes - though some of these are only
to 1800 or 1850 - with 2 or 3 almost ready to go.
This from a total of 200 and a few....... so something like 65%? But a
disproportionate amount of the untranscribed bits is in the Isle of Ely
- because in the past the keen transcribers have been in the south of
the county.
I have no figures for Huntingdonshire.
If you tell me the names of the people you are missing, I can check our
Baptism index 1801-1837, which theoretically indexes all known sources
(at the time)...............
